The Manchester Elementary Art program serves grades Pre-K through 3rd grade with an emphasis on experimentation in the younger grades and a concentration on the elements and principles of design in the latter years. The MES Art Studio is a choice-based Art Room.

Choice-based art education regards students as artists and offers real choices for responding to their own ideas and interests through the making of art. Choice-based art education supports multiple modes of learning and assessment for the diverse needs of students.

In our Art space the artists are introduced to a theme or subject, then are able to choose their method of how to complete it.
